Typical romantic comedy dogmas get dropped on their head in the new movie from Scott Rudin productions, Failure to Launch, starring Justin Bartha and Bradley Cooper. The film tells the story of a thirtysomething guy (Matthew McConaughey) who still lives in the same home as his parents, and uses this as a ploy to get out of any serious relationship that he finds himself in. All of this changes when he finds himself deeply in love with the woman of his dreams (Sarah Jessica Parker), but he soon begins to suspect that she has been employed by his parents in an attempt to get him to vacate the premises.
